“I’ve heard nothing but raving reviews about CCK, and after boarding our dog for a week this is the only kennel I will take my dog to. The staff is amazing, attentive and caring. The paddocks for the dogs are huge and great to play in when they go out 6 times a day. Plus, you can have them go for nature walks and trips to the pond to swim! They do a fantastic job of posting daily photos on their Facebook so you can see how much fun your dog is having. Also, as an added bonus, your dog will come home exhausted from all the fun they had with their new found friends. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Have boarded 3 times with this kennel. Linda, Austin are absolutely wonderful and engaging. Our girls (Bijou and Trixie) love the environment. Plenty of playtime and available amenities like daily snacks, nature walks, swims, and the usual baths and nail trims. And if lonely for your pups, plenty of photos posted on their website, attesting to the great time everyone is having. The only kennel for us!”

“I’ve been taking my pups to Country Club Kennels for several years now, sometimes for a night or two, sometimes for a week or two. I always have at least three dogs to board. The first time I left them, I was in tears and it was a challenging week for me to be away from them, but apparently they had different feelings than I was experiencing all week. When I picked them up several days later they all had this crazed look like they had just completed Freshmen week in college and couldn’t wait to share their experiences with me. Truly, it was as if they possessed a special secret and were talking about it in the car all the way home. They were EXHAUSTED when they got home which was a big bonus for me. The next time I took them to Country Club Kennels they ran all over me getting out of the car on their way into the building and by the time I struggled behind them with their STUFF they were out of sight, in the kennel area and heading for the yard. Suffice to say, no tears this time as I heard Austin good heartedly shout: “Release the hounds!” and I went about my way and hit the road without a worry in my head. A couple more things: I’ve boarded my guys at the CCK in Haymarket when there was no availability in Orange and that was a good experience as well. In addition, I enlisted Austin and Brooke for two weeks of boarding and training for my 11-month-old Boxer and it was well worth it. One never knows how much patience a trainer has or what techniques are used but my very energetic Boxer learned a lot, is so much more fun to be with, and when we went back to Country Club Kennels so my Boxer and I could practice under the tutelage of her two trainers I first witnessed my Boxer greet her trainers like so: LOOK! LOOK!! MY FRIENDS! My new best friends! Can I stay? Huh? Juh? Can I stay?! Do I have to go home?!” As successful as her training was and continues to be, my Boxer really really struggled with keeping all fours on the terrain when she saw her two trainers BOTH AT ONE TIME after having been away (“away” being home) for a few days. Anyone who knows and has loved a Boxer knows how they struggle with where their paws are “supposed” to be. Anyway, quite a dissertation here, but I do appreciate good and honest care, especially for those that cannot communicate for themselves. So thank you, Country Club Kennel Family. much appreciated.”
